Lotus is an iconic British sports car designer and manufacturer, which stands alone as a brand dedicated to delivering a pure driving experience. Lotus tasked us with creating a luxury brochure and a series of marketing emails to support the launch of its new cars: the Elise, the Evora and the Exige. We were challenged to create a campaign that would engage Lotus’ audience, but retain a minimalist style, to allow the stunning photography to take centre stage.
Lotus provided us with a range of their existing brochures that we used as a starting point for the content. We created a framework for the three new brochures to promote the new cars, ensuring they were all consistent and using Lotus’s clean and modern identity. Each brochure steers the reader on a journey through the heritage of the brand from the company’s first designs through to the latest models. Technical information needed to be condensed accordingly, in order for the content to be engaging for the reader.
To support the launch of the new models we also created a suite of emails to help with their marketing strategy, these included finance offers, events and test drives.
Lotus was delighted with the output: a fresh, new brochure for each car, in print and digital formats and a suite of onbrand, eye-catching email templates to support their marketing campaign.
